Welcome to Hitcreations4u
Hello and welcome to our little corner of the internet!
I thought the best way to start our new blog was simply to say hello and tell you a little bit about the story behind Hitcreations4u.
Hitcreations4u is a small, home-grown business based in Lancashire, run by me, Imelda. The name HIT is actually very personal to us – it comes from the initials of my two boys, Harry and Theo, and me, Imelda.
What started as a love of creating in lockdown has grown into a business filled with personalised gifts, cards and keepsakes for all sorts of people, occasions and milestones.
A big part of Hitcreations4u is also our connection to the Deaf community and British Sign Language. I wear hearing aids and my son Theo is profoundly Deaf and a BSL user. That personal experience is why you'll find such a large range of BSL cards and gifts in our shop.
I wanted people to be able to find a card featuring their own language, whether that's for a birthday, Christmas, a wedding, a new baby or one of those little occasions that simply deserves to be celebrated.
But Hitcreations4u is about more than one collection.
You'll also find personalised gifts, medical and communication products, little keepsakes and plenty of other things that I've simply enjoyed designing and creating.
Everything is designed, printed, personalised and packaged by me at home, so there really is a person behind every order. And, as is often the case with a small business, you'll usually find several half-finished ideas on my desk at the same time!
This blog is going to be another little part of Hitcreations4u.
I'll be sharing new products, some of the stories behind my designs, BSL and Deaf Awareness, small-business life, gift ideas and probably a few behind-the-scenes moments too.
So whether you've bought from me before, followed Hitcreations4u for a while, or have only just discovered us – welcome.
I'm really glad you're here.
Imelda x
